GROOMING POLICY

At Fluffy Puppies, we take a ‘Humanity before Vanity’ approach to grooming your pooches. Your dog’s welfare comes first.  We will act in your dog’s best interest and groom accordingly. 

  • Dogs will be handed over at the gate and clients are not permitted to enter the grooming salon as per COVID safety policies.

  • We will not de-mat dogs that are matted or have pelted coats. These pets will automatically be clipped short. 

  • We have the right to refuse or not complete a groom should the dog become too aggressive or overly stressed. If necessary, we will use soft muzzles on aggressive dogs.  If groom has commenced, we may still charge grooming fee.

  • All unneutered male dogs, aggressive dogs & very shy/nervous dogs will be kept safe and isolated in a cage.

  • If your dog has fleas, they will automatically be treated with a Capstar flea treatment and bathed with a flea shampoo, at an additional cost of $20. 

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, we have the right to reschedule your appointment.  If you are going to be late, please call or text to let us know.

  • We will do our best to have your pet ready for pick up within a reasonable time.  However, things can sometimes be out of our control and your dog may be here a little longer than anticipated.  If you do need your dog ready by a particular time, please let us know at drop off and we will endeavour to have him/her ready.

  • We expect dogs to be collected in a reasonable timeframe after grooming and within business hours.  Collecting your dog after hours will incur a late fee.

Cancellation Policy:

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of an appointment.  A fee of up to 50% of the groom may also be added to your next session (depending on circumstances of the short notification).
